Triumphing Through Adversities:

Ruth 3:18

18Then she said, “Sit still my daughter, until you know how the matter will turn out; for the man will not rest until he has concluded the matter of this day.”

Are you worried over a seemingly hopeless situation?

Are your problems so huge you can’t possibly figure out a solution?

Well, God’s Word says that at times like these, you should take some time off, sit at Jesus’ feet, and just rest as He ministers to you.

God wants you to know that He has the final say in every situation in your life, and He is not about to let you stay defeated, certainly not when His Son has already paid the price to bring you an abundant life!

Take a look at Ruth, she was in a seemingly hopeless situation, her husband had just died, she had no income, and was a lowly foreigner in an unfamiliar land; her future seemed bleak. Yet, simply by learning to trust in God, she was blessed much more than she ever thought possible.

The key is to learn to rest in the Strength of the Lord.

In Ruth’s example, after laboring from morning to evening, she only managed to glean one ephah of barley (Ruth 2:17). However, when she rested with her redeemer, Boaz (a picture of our Lord Jesus), she received six ephahs of barley (Ruth 3:15).

God wants you to experience the same. He doesn’t want you to keep brooding and fretting over your problems, or work yourself silly trying to solve everything by yourself.

When you are faced with troubles or problems that seem to be too huge for you, it might be time to take a rest at Jesus’ feet and simply worship Him. Know that God will work everything out for your Highest Good, and that He is with you through it all.

Remember, Jesus has already paid the price for your Success and Victory, and God will definitely bring you triumphing through adversities, and into the Blessings He promised you!
