In 1979, Bishop Thomas (T.D.) Jakes founded the Greater Emmanuel Temple Of Faith, the church that he first pastored. This was a small church in West Virginia with only ten members.

More than 25 years later, however, Bishop Jakes is now pastoring what Christianity Today calls, "one of America's fastest growing mega-churches." Ever since its inception in 1996, The Potter's House - the church Bishop Jakes now pastors, has been on the frontier of church growth. Growing from just 50 families, to more than 30,000 members. The Potter's House is now a multi-racial nondenominational church with more than 50 outreach ministries.

In a weekly video series titled, "The Potter's Touch", Bishop TD Jakes continually expounds Gospel truths aimed at setting the Body of Christ free from the bondages set by the devil. Week after week, he talks about how God wants us to prosper and be in health, even as our soul prospers.
