Superabundant Grace:

2 Corinthians 9:8

8And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.

What if you saw the man with the withered hand in front of you, the very same man that Jesus healed in the synagogue (Luke 6:6-11)?

How would you see him? What would you think about him? What would you say to him?

Would you take pity on him, and perhaps spare him a coin or two? Perhaps you would give him a word of encouragement, and hope to cheer him up a little.

But do you know what Jesus saw in him? He saw the Superabundant Grace of God, just waiting for the chance to spring into action, and fill his body with divine health and restoration.

As Jesus was preaching in the synagogue, He didn’t just see a man with a withered hand, He also saw the Superabundant Grace around the hand for health and wholeness. We only see with our earthly eyes, but Jesus sees through the eyes of our Heavenly Father, and what He saw, was the ever-present Kingdom of God.

We know this because when Jesus laid eyes upon this man, He asked him to “stretch out his hand”. In the natural, we would be saying, “What hand? Can’t you see it is withered up?”. But what we do not understand is that what we see is only temporal. The Kingdom of God, however, is eternal, and within this Kingdom, there is no sickness, only constant, divine health.

Therefore, Jesus can confidently tell the man to stretch forth his hand, because He saw the complete healing before it even took place.

This does not only apply to sicknesses, but to sin, poverty, and every other problem we are facing as well.

No matter how bad the situation may seem, God’s Grace is always present to turn it around, and manifest the Kingdom of God in your life.

Therefore, we have to stop agreeing with the devil, stop confessing lack, sickness, and condemnation. Instead, start believing what God says in His Word, and trust Him to do what He said He would do.

Remember, you are the highly favored of God, and His Superabounding Grace is always present in Your life to heal you and bless you!
