Mars Hill Chruch Sermons : Pastors: Mark Driscoll, Lief Moi, Mike Gunn Author: Confessions and Reformission
Although the Mars Hill Church was only founded in 1996, it has grown by leaps and bounds to include numerous satellite campuses. The church was founded by three pastors: Mike Gunn, Leif Moi and Mark Driscoll. It began as a home church, held in the home of Driscoll in Seattle, Washington. It's also classified as a Reformed Christian Church, and the three pastors continue to preach at the home church. However, there are now numerous locations at which Sunday services are held.
Mars Hill sermons are available through a variety of technologically friendly options. Podcasts are released every week and are available for download. In fact, the church recorded that sermons are downloaded more than 100,000 times weekly.
As a growing church, Pastor Mark's church began to found satellite churches throughout Seattle. There are now eight campuses, and all are linked to the home church through satellite feeds and video in order to provide the Sunday sermons to all members. Additionally, it is also a member of the City, which is an online Christian community owned by the Zondervan publishing company.
Campuses of the church are located in: Ballard (home church), Bellevue, downtown Seattle, Shoreline, West Seattle, Olympia, U-District, Federal Way, and Lake City. There is even now a campus located in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Mars Hill takes part in two major ministries, including the Acts 29 Church Planting Network and the Resurgence. As a part of Acts 29, it helps to plant and found non-denominational churches throughout the country and world. The Resurgence is a ministry that calls Mars Hill its home and includes a gospel-based theology.
The sermons collected below aim to provide you with the same gospel-based insights and lead you to a greater understanding of God's great love for you.
