Christian Perfection:

Hebrews 10:12, 14, KJV

12But this man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down on the right hand of God... 14For by one offering He hath perfected forever them that are sanctified.

Dear friend, do you know God sees you in the same perfection that He sees Jesus? That means you are spotless, without even a speck of sin. Through Jesus’ finished work, you are now totally covered by His robes of Righteousness.

The important thing to understand is that you are made righteous, not through your own efforts, but by what our Lord Jesus, God’s beloved son has done. Therefore, in the eyes of God, even when you mess up, do something foolish, or make a mistake, He still sees you as perfectly as He sees His son.

Jesus died on the cross to make this happen. So please realize that whenever you see yourself as being far from perfect, it is not modesty, it is a failure to understand the completeness of Jesus’ work.

Instead, the bible tells us, “For by one offering He hath perfected forever them that are sanctified”. That means that you not only have been sanctified and made holy, you have also been perfected.

It is from this ground that you can expect yourself to be blessed by our Father God. He sees you as a righteous man, and blesses you as such. The only thing you need to do to receive His blessings is to be humble enough to accept the free gift of righteousness and perfection.

Therefore, from now on, every time you make a mistake, remind yourself of what Jesus has done, and say a heartfelt, “Amen, I AM perfect in Christ”. After that, thank God for the presence of His Holy Spirit, the helper who guides and leads you back on the paths of righteousness.

Remember, through our Lord Jesus, you already have Christian Perfection.
