Charles Haddon Spurgeon, also know by many as the "Prince of Preachers", was born on June 19, 1834.Throughout his life, C.H. Spurgeon preached to more than 10 million people and helped many accept Christ as their Savior.
Even till this day, Charles' sermons still has a great impact on believers and un-believers alike. Translated into many languages,his works broke free of the language barrier and reached to many places all over the world which he'd have otherwise been unableto preach.
As the pastor of New Park Street Chapel, later renamed as the Metropolitan Tabernacle, Charles Spurgeon regularly preaches to the congregation in an uncompromising way, leading them to a true knowledge of Jesus Christ and His work. In addition, he alsostarted a charity organization as well as a college later in his life, both named after him.
Apart from preaching, Charles was also a prolific author. With works including sermons, prayer books, devotionals, poetry, andhymns, his works spread throughout the world, and gave his readers a holistic range of materials to help grow their faith. In fact, his sermons were so beneficial that many of them were transcribed even as he was speaking and later translated to differnt languages in order reach people of different races.
